"Master of Reality" by Black Sabbath (1971)
CLASSIC ALBUM OF THE WEEK
Black Sabbath "Master of Reality"  1971 (UK)
I decided to pick a romantic classic for Valentine's Day, Black Sabbath's 3rd album and their last unquestionable masterpiece.  It's actually a concept album of sorts, with God and the Devil as hero and villain and "The Youth" the prize they fight for.  In the end, Ozzy & the kids board a spaceship and leave Earth to seek new horizons of freedom.  Sort of like a Jefferson Starship album from Hell!  (Tony Iommi is 59 years old this week.)

It's Valentine's Day, Darling!

Birthdays this week:  Tony Iommi & Yoko Ono
