We've got a bit of international heavy seventies rock on the show this morning, and our CAOTW is a one-off masterpice by a unique Algerian-French combo:  The Chico Magnetic Band.  Chico is the barefoot longhair on the cover, who sings in an incomprehensible rock'n'roll English.  His Magnetic Band come across as some sort of heavy metal-esque Jimi Hendrix tribute, with the occasional psychedelic synth interlude to up the crazy factor (including a sample of Jean-Jacques Perrey & Gershon Kingsley.)  There were a handful of singles that came out after the album, and I understand there is now a CD reissue that includes the complete works of CMB -- which consists of just sixteen tracks of gonzo guitars and goofy growling.
There does not appear to be any actual footage of Chico in action, but here's a fan vid for his bizarro Hendrix cover "Crosstown Traffic", and here's a rare non-LP B-side from 1972: "Phantasm".  Another hideous hairy radical group on the show this morning is Britain's Edgar Broughton Band -- here they are performing "Love In The Rain" and a cover of their hero Captain Beefheart's "Dropout Boogie".
