Sylvester Stewart AKA Sly Stone turns 65 on March 15th, so here's his third entry in the CAOTW hall of fame.  Fresh was the follow up to the groundbreaking There's A Riot Going On, and continues the trend of subversive downbeat funk he pioneered on that album.  The unsung gem of Sly's discography!
Here's a rare live Family Stone Medley from 1968, and the band in their prime performing "Hot Fun In The Summertime" and "I Want To Take You Higher".  Plus here's Sly being interviewed on the Dick Cavett Show.
