This record is an amalgamation of amateur jazz and lo-fi psychedelia arranged into psuedo-classical suites, mostly recorded live at a "chilli supper", although the group also recorded at the grave site of Harry Truman (in order to absorb his "vibes"?)  Only 200 copies of this album were originally made, issued on a private label and doomed to obscurity until Nurse With Wound mentioned it in the liner notes to their first album.  The central character behind this obscure classic is one Dwight Frizzell, a quasi-legendary "outsider artist" from Kansas City who is also a noted expert on (and was a friend of) the late great Sun Ra.  Dwight Frizzell is a professor at U of Missouri-KC these days -- here's his bio.
